Thornielee Beat River Tweed
This beat is owned by George Watson's College and is fished by Pupils from the school and former pupils. The beat is spit in two, the upper beat which is fished on a day ticket basis and the lower beat which is a syndicate with 4 rods fishing per day Monday to Friday with Saturday being reserved for the students. The main months for Salmon fishing are September to November 30th although with good conditions fish can be caught earlier with the chance of a good sea trout too,
